I find it very head scratching that different developed countries have different withdrawal periods for the same type of medications.

How are you today?
Natural would be nice, but there aren't *any* effective "natural wormers", but there are hundreds of posts from people making claims about garlic, pumpkin seeds, etc. If you have a dog, cat, or human with worms, what do you do? Same for human head lice, what would you use? There's way to much crap about all these chemicals, with out long-term studies showing what the risks are to people when we use them in animals.
We don't use pesticides here, and I wish we had more natural wormers for the chickens and other animals. I'm not a fan of putting chemicals into my animals unless I absolutely have too![]()
IMHO if it is safe for meat it is save for eggs! Chicken will deposit material in its egg to 10 days before laying, so if a meat bird is safe to eat after a withdrawal period that is over then 10 days it is safe in the egg, because the metabolism in meat and egg bird is the same! The FDA give an approval only on things he hase a scientific verification for it, and a lot of products just didn't pased the needed tests due to budget problems so they are disqualified in advance. How can it be approved for meat birds but not laying birds?

I'm with you on that.

Just peachy.Good...just glad we are one day closer to the weekend. Yourself?
I would agree that if it's "safe" for use in meat animals then it should be "safe" for use in laying hens.IMHO if it is safe for meat it is save for eggs!
