Quote: I'm assuming your friend was killed?
I was still living at home when one of the locals decided to take his bike for a spin one night, with a friend of his on behind. They'd both had too much to drink. They stopped short of the top of a hill, wrong side of the road, light off, about midnight. This was in the 50's, before the area was wall-to-wall street lights. A car came over the hill, hitting them head-on, and flipping the passenger over the bike to face-plant on the car's hood, clear to the windshield. He was dead at the scene; the guy driving the bike wasn't scratched.
