This is crazy I am trying to sell some cutlery from book to raise money for our youth group trip to Alabama and I went to eleven different houses and not one person answered
I hated having to do that.

IMHO, the easiest fund raising technique is candy bars. Extra large Snickers, Hersheys, Reese's, etc. for $1 are an easy sale.

Holstein bulls are about the rankest bulls I know of. I've seen them run clear across a field just to charge a man; hurt him if he can. We were park in a back field of a dairy farm, fishing the river. When we got there, the cows were all in the milking parlor. Before long, they were turned out, and here they came, bull right behind them. We were able to run them off that time, but the following week the bull charged the Jeep being driven across the pasture by the farmer's son, and rolled it. A few days later, said bull was in the back of the farm truck, on a one-way trip.
They surely have a cranky streak.

The worst day of my life was the day I crossed the northern border of TX, headed south, on the way to San Antonio & Air Force Basic Training. The best day was the day that all I could see of TX was in the rear view mirror!

Not really...Dallas is one of the prettiest places I've been in Spring, when the Blue Bonnets & Indian Paint Brush are in bloom, growing side by side. Haven't seen it since '67, but I'll never forget it.
I liked San Antonio.

One of my worst days was the bus trip from the induction center downtown to Fort Leonard Wood.

I lost one from a broody same way. Broody was only nine months old. Thought it was inexperience. My most recent broody acted same way.(2nd time broody) Thought she was insane and removed from chicks prior to harm.
So, is this just normal? SMH    Always learning .
Great photos!

I don't know about normal as this is her first time as well. None of my other broodies act this way. She'll peck their heads as well.

So here's one google isn't being helpful with or my search terms suck... the iffy Wyandotte is hangin on. Lookin better by the hour(s).., so it has splay leg, and hip? It's been walking a few steps now, so that's good. I have it in a tube sock cinched up and then in a cup(the bugger keeps escaping my contraptions to hold its leg right...) Anyone ever treat a chick with its leg where the joint that fits under the wing, might technically be their knee, sticking side ways...? When he sits down n rests the left wing sits in between the "knee" and the belly or side.
