Easy Bubbles! When you live this far north, you just roll with it.
Long range forecast for my neck of the woods is day time highs of -15 next week. I am loving the 0 to minus 5 right now!
Shorts and t shirt weather in January.

I don't know how you do it. I'd freeze!

me too more or less..people always give me crap cuz I don't age
when I was driving to my first assignment in the Air Force I got pulled over cuz the cop thought I was too young to drive...me and my eight month pregnant wife. Here's my Air Force pic...I look 14

Look how cute! No really - a nice picture.

Yeh, I know. :(
Still dont make me less jealous.
Wouldnt be bad if it werent for having to keep fresh water avalible......

I use the large heated pet bowls and a box heater idea I came up with.
Wooden box, with full bottom, cut out top to fit two dollar store dish pans into it, and mounted two 60 watt light bulbs inside the box, between the dish pans.
The box retains the heat from the bulbs, the pans are thin enough to allow the heat to transfer to the water, and the light glows just enough to see what I am doing in the coop after dark.
Easy to build, and safe & cheap to operateI will get photos later this week and send them to you if you like. Might be something that would work for you.

No,we can't get milk from her
yall are probably annoyin the crap out of her(probably never been milked or is sore), throw both of them babies back in there and spy on them, you might be surprised. but sometimes moms just abandon weaker ones and you probably will have to go get some powdered colostrum and electrolytes. newborns cant go long without nutrients
