what don't you know?
Holy smokes a yr old and still freeloading? I thought my one pullet was bad at 9 months and still free loading. Most of mine are still freeloading and my pullets are nearly a year old. Some are starting to lay, but most of them haven't started yet.
Quote: Yep. They'll be a year old around March 31st.
I would say that if the majority of your eggs are looking good, leave the turner on. I have a little strip next to my turner that I can put eggs. You have the same 'bator I do. I don't know how you would keep them upright....HELP,okay so today is day thirteen.I did my day fourteen candling tonight.I will not candle till day eighteen.Should I turn the turner of because something is recall wrong with some of the shipped eggs .
I had one backyard mix that was over a year before she started laying, but her first eggs were HUGE. I have another one that jumps out of the run to hide her eggs somewhere in my yard. We used the railroad ties she was using as cover, so now we are searching for her new location.....Yep. They'll be a year old around March 31st.
Sounds like you've got professional freeloaders.Yep. They'll be a year old around March 31st.
Before I call for Technical Support, I have a question.
My new incubator is only going up to 89.9° until I set it on the bed. Then it will go up to 95.3 or 4° within minutes. I am only moving it a few feet. Is this a coincidence or am I just sitting it in a bad location? I'm sitting it next to the other incubator. The only thing that really should matter is that it's at a slight angle sitting next to the other incubator.
A second question, is why is there moisture accumulated on the rim of the lid?
bama is banned foreverIs 'bama still in timedout?

@Saris hey beautiful! glad to SEE you!! I am so praying they get better, I am so sorry about them!So I've started my two Ameraucanas on Denagard. 15ml per gallon, even if they don't drink the whole gallon (which they won't) I still change it everyday right? Then they stay on it for 5 days or a week, and I should see improvement in one or two days right?

@billiejw89Hello, I've got my first batch of eggs in the incubator now. 12 Buff orpington eggs. They are on day 2, I opened the lid to put in my new Hygrometer/thermometer along with my glass thermometer. How long does it take for temp to rise back up?
oh dang!!!! what is a purple guin?Quick update here....@Sally Sunshine
The original two surviving Serama eggs from the shipped mushy mess have bit the dust. From the newer shipped mess there are two still developing. They do have horrible saddle cells, so not a lot of hope for them either.
My purple Guineas have just started laying and people are wanting chicks, so.....Pulling out the Mind Reading Bator this weekend!
@tao chick you go girl!!! what are they and whendue?
it will delay hatch just a bit but you should be ok... your thermometers and hygros are calibrated?Ok, my temp is up to 99.3. Will it hurt my hatch if it has been at 95-96 the first 2 days? I hope not.
