Okay guys just caught up. Well I too talk to my eggs from the day of setting, and sometimes I sing to them. But I've never had any of my eggs for sure rock roll or shake. I thought my two black oegbs did but it was like four in the morning so it may have been me twitching lol.

Mine seem to roll and wiggle a lot around day 17-19. After that they are really still for a day or two before they hatch. Maybe internal pipping? Or maybe just final adjustments to their position before hatch? Who knows, it's cute though.

I'm wondering if its BC I've only hatched bantams that I haven't seen a lot of wiggling from my eggs?

I've never hatched bantams so maybe. Are your eggs in a turner until day 18? Mine are flat on the floor so I can see every tiny movement. Most of it is before lockdown. I incubated in egg cartons upright once and didn't see any movement at all.

Is there any threads on hatching with broodies? I ask because that's usually how it's done where I live; only incubators I've seen available are reptile ones. If I wanted an incubator I'd have to look online at Ebay or Amazon.

there is a broody hatch along I used to belong to....
