They warm my hands up temporarily, and they are super fun to play in, but it's not a permanent fix. I don't think it's arthritis or anything, just poor circulation and anemia.
My daughter has really poor circulation. Her hands are always ICY - we live in Southern California - it's hard to get cold hands here. We haven't found anything that works that well that she will tolerate. I found these reusable gel heat packs that you put in your ski gloves. They stay warm for almost an hour, then you just click the button in the middle and it heats up again. I put those in her pockets and am working on getting her to stick her hands in there once in a while and click the button if it's cold.

I do use them when I ski.

She says she uses "veggies, meat, than add (soy sauce, a lil brown sugar and ginger powder) all that stuff at the end."

There once was a man that bought an incubator. For the life of him, he could never get any chicks to hatch. He gave the incubator away to someone else. When that person had good hatch after good hatch, the man said, "it's just luck!"
The man purchased a second incubator. Again, nothing would ever hatch. And again, someone else was able to use the incubator successfully.
The incubators weren't the problem, now were they?

My hubs had a big thing like that for his back. Though it had to be boild to reset, then you could pop the metal disk and it would gel up and heat again.
