I have been battling BCMs myself. I got 3 of 7. 0 of 12. and 5 of 15. It's been crazy. I finally got eggs from another breeder and put 29 of 30 in lockdown today. Deaths have been either late stage or weeping right after being set. Air cells were a mess, rolling, on a lot of the shipped eggs. I just wanted a good start so I could hatch my own!
I'm thinking now I'll just try to locate some local day-olds & eliminate all the shipping & hatching problems; let a broody (if I find a good one) do her thing as Nature intended.

I might get a,better rate this weekend. Most of them are EEs, and those usually hatch really good for me.
Aren't yours due around next tuesday?

Following Tuesday. Started with ducks, remember? Dec 15th.

I wish I never would have messed with her. Thebleeding probably would have healed on its own. It was a hernia, not yolk. She died before I even finished mixing the booster water, she cried the whole time she was dying. I feel so sick

Aww honey, I agree with the others, you did what you thought was right :hugs
