So i have new pictures of the babies this morning. After sitting Eggbert in a cup for a while this morning, and attempting to put on a booty he couldn't kick off (still failed on that part, he is now moving around on his own a lot better than last night. Still not like the others, but way better! I have titled this picture "9 chicks on home plate"

Ok ok so they're not all on the plate. Close enough!

And then I woke up to something like this, but worse:

He was a lot more red, and a lot more swollen at 7 am this morning. This was taken.... 45 min ago maybe? This is after 2 benadryl, a zyrtec and a shot of steroids from the vet. No clue on what he found with his face that has him so swollen from an allergic reaction. Maybe a spider bite... Maybe a plant out in the woody area that he stuck his face in. But he wasn't like that last night at midnight when I went to bed, according to my husband who left at 5 am, wasn't like this either, but sure was when he woke me up at 6 with his panic bark.

Thank you! I will try it from the top.
good luck Xmasbaby!

oh geez, how are the meds effecting him? this is the fourth dog like this I have heard about in two days! not sure what is going on lately! all the spideeeezzzz coming to take over dogdum?

Doh, forgot about the candling for the eggs in the incubator last night! Day....10 for the LV and 7 for the SFH. 3 out of 7 LV are doing great, one died between days 7 and 10 (bloodring) and 3 clears 9 out of 12 SFH are still doing awesome! Had 2 clear for the SFH, and one bloodring. Pulled all the clears and the 2 bloodrings last night.

He is passed out on his doggie bed. Will wake up, drink water, demand to go out to pee, itch a bit, and pass out again. ETA: how'd you like the pic of my feet holding him still for the camera/so he wouldn't itch? LOL Worked out well for me!

Assuming he was inside, is there any chance he could've gotten snake-bit? Don't laugh; I see rat snakes in my house 4-5 times a year.
