Me too! I am sure, she is a doll! she is another BYC sweetheart I met on a HAL actually! she is the one that gave the polish eggs on the HALLOWEEN HAL as a matter of fact! Her kids are sweet too, she just had another baby too! so it would be cool to go see the baby and the kids. What day are you on VW? Sally - enjoy your drive - any excuse for a road trip for me. Hope you get some nice eggs!
As long as it's the right species.
Is it torture if you pull their legs off?
I use one of those little quart water bottles with the "moat" screwed on, then upgrade to the gallon size. Start with marbles in the water. Have some saddle nipples that I have yet to trial. Wishing I hadn't bought them.
Don't want to rain on your parade, but have heard that very young chicks are not strong enough to activate the nipples on those. Let's hear some feed back from others about that?! I'll be setting up some of those on a cat litter bucket for my winter waterer.
Is this your dtr who has 1 month of sobriety now? I wasn't exactly clear who you are talking about. But, huge congrats to her, and to you too. It's hard being a support system without enabling. Hope she is able to continue her path back to good health.
