Only when they remove their dirty diaper and smear it. Even then, it is no different than a duckling. My Duckling helps clean up the mess.

I just got a RK in the same plaza as the TSC. I haven't been there yet. It does sound like an issue though.
Yea but at least I can confine the ducklings to a brooder to help contain the messes............people might frown upon putting a Monkey in a brooder.

Oh, if only you knew what you were saying.

No. I smacked him across the head.
Did he at least say he was sorry for biting you?

You live near Wolverton Mountain, or know a guy named Clifton Clowers with a pretty young daughter?  (might be a bit before your time)

:lau

The bears and birds here don't alert me if anyone comes here..... But my dog does!

It was better in my head. I should turn back on the "quote all" thing so that the above picture would have been quoted with our morning greetings.

You said "I do not like that MCC"

That is your department

The drying out happened last year. The plant I bought this year seemed weak to begin with.

That iz not what I meant, and you know it! :hit

They need good drainage but can't dry out. I once had them in raised beds and couldn't keep enough moisture on them in mid summer. I also had trouble keeping the weeds out of them. Drip irrigation is the way to go.
This time I'm going with raised berms covered in plastic and plant through the plastic.
My son rigged a neat deal using large diameter PVC pipe. Drilled holes along the length of the pipe, set the plants into the holes, and used a recirculating water supply. Put bird netting over the top. Worked like a champ.

So something weird I have noticed. We have a Tractor Supply and a Rural King within 1/2 mile of each other. At Tractor Supply, they keep the chicks behind a tall fence and only associates are allowed in that area. At Rural King, even though there is a sign that says not to handle the poultry, the guy just lets everyone handle them, regardless of whether or not they want to buy them. The last 3 times I've been in there, it's like a petting zoo. Seems like quite the bio-security nightmare if you ask me. Anyone else had a similar experience?
Absolutely. They have someone monitoring all the time at Farm&Home but not at TSC across the street. The little feed store by my house doesn't control that either.

I remember that one. Now you did it. It's stuck in my head and probably will be all day.

Good morning everyone! Traffic has been terrible this morning. What normally takes an hour and fifteen to twenty minutes has taken an hour and forty five minutes.
Roasted Parakeet?? That is disgusting.
On the duck theme I think you need to pair the mommy wait for me picture and the clip of the duckling running on the concrete together.
@ChickenCanoeThat sounds like a lot of work, but boy do strawberries sound yummy!
