yep I had a 74 percent hatch rate but I think I was just very luck and I sat and stared at it for longer than I care to admit lol I want to make it even better and when I make this one perfect than I will build a bigger one.

The pups are wonderful, taking the youngest to a herding clinic tomorrow, should be interesting and loud. I'm ready to scale down the little hobby farm and move somewhere warm in 5 -10 years. The DW and I have been taking care of her cousins calves while his wife takes care of a health issue. Speaking of health issues I hope and pray you are getting better.

very loud I bet!! really? your not that old Mike! although I feel you on the moving part we just found a place in SC I am thinking about, not sure what I want to do yet. His dad retired down there and I want to get out of dodge. But not sure thats where I want to go. I was thinking more GA TN area. But SC isnt out of the question for me yet. I have spent a lot of time in SC with my X.... FIL lives there on a huge lake outside Chapin.

I know I have a lot of envy posts on this thread (cause you all have such pretty eggs!) But really, I think I have been very fortunate with my eggs. The first time we hatched my dad gave us some RIR from his homestead, the second time I wanted to hatch he didn't have a rooster anymore and the local ladies eggs were duds. Then because of my bad hatch Sally sent me eggs which hatched recently and at the same time someone gave my pops a nice roo. So now I'll have a couple eggs to try at the NYD Hal. I am happy!

I'm lazy, so I'm not going to go back and find any of your previous posts about hating now versus the spring. I'll just say:
