How many have hatched now amb, and when did the first one hatch and the last one?
two have hatched first around midnight, last around 5am.
I can't tell with the others in there chirping like crazy. I can see it moving its beak a lot but it looks like there is a brownish snot on it in the shell.![]()

go with your gutt on this one... you have a very weird bator full of uckyness... and only you see whats in there.... I am sorry sweets, I knew we were on the edge with these teeny air cells,The other ones are napping and I can hear it going crazy in the shell.

And... I just found the fourth egg pipping on it's side. GRRRR!!!![]()
8 pips total... and it's only (early) day 20.
I'm leaning towards flock issue. The eggs were freshly collected the day I got them, but the flock was fairly young. Transport was less than 15 miles from my home, and I made sure they had a smooth ride. No loose air cells, and the shells looked good. The bator rolled the eggs 3 times a day. I think the next batch will get turned 8 times daily, which is the maximum setting for turning on this unit.hmmm... a stored egg issue? turning issue? gonna think on that one.... note how they are pipped.... hope you dont have a bunch of mals at the end/DIS... unfortuately they happen first and at the end.... FLOCK issues shows that too..... how did that bator turn?
and they are right on time![]()
