Me too. Used to be a decent State. I was born there.Hey, I resent that one!!!
So Ya get all that done and still can't figure out how to show a picture?Just in case some random soul out there really gives a rat's behind, here's a bit of an update on the new coop / run I've been working on:
The coop's essentially finished; just waiting on some rubber sheeting for the upper roof (should be in this week, I hope) and I still need to cut the corner molding and tack it on.
Got all the posts set or driven for the run. Weather finally cleared this morning (opposite the forecast) and I got some wire run. After the grass semi-dried I took a fencing break and got the grass mowed, in case the forecast for the balance of the week is right, for once, and we get rain every day.
After another break (I do that very well) I got back to the fencing. Finished the initial roll and brought a new roll down from the barn. Trimmed a couple inches off one of the pop doors so I can remove it easier should the need arise. By that time it was 6:30 and I'd had about all the fun I could stand for one day.
I need to finish the main fencing, run hardware cloth around the bottom, and make a people door, and I'll be good to go.

Hi al! First time hatching chicken eggs via an incubator (have hatched parrot eggs and used a broody hen for chickens in the past). I weighed the eggs at start and today is day 11. (I just read that I shouldn't candle day 10-14 days AFTER I candled UGH)
Out of 38 eggs 30 were fertile, and 28-29 look viable. (1 appeared fertile but didnt see any veining) However they haven't lost much if any weight? Does that mean the 45-48% humidity should be lowered?
Also, I HATE tossing the eggs that are clear....just in case I am mistaken. How long can I safely leave them before needing to remove?
I noticed that there seemed to be different size of growth in them too...some appeared 2/3 full while others just had small moving areas maybe 1/4? Is that normal?
Quote: That's a fact! What ticks me off is I didn't used to have a problem; I think something's messed up in this tired old laptop.
Hey! What's shakin'?Hello!!!!!
