I know I've been sitting her all day turning the gauge to get it right ...... Can we see some picks ROBJONES

Are all your thermometers showing spikes or just the built in one? The built in one shouldn't be trusted, mine reads about .5 degrees higher than the actual temp. Also it needs time to adjust, expect some temp drops after water is added and don't try to increase the temp right away.

GAH I'm back! Somehow this tab got closed and replaced when I updated my computer and I fell behind!

Husband called the dishwasher repair guy and got a call from the internet people, so we've got someone coming in tomorrow to fix my dishwasher and another guy coming in next Friday to install the new router. I also found a few pallets that have been sitting around the warehouse that I'm allowed to use for making a new coop!

SARIS the thermometer is the one with the red stuff in it ... I bought another earlier so I put the new one on top and the one that was showing spikes on top the auto turner the one on top the new one shows 101 102 on top the eggs and the old one shows 98 99.5 on the egg turner does this sound right

Ok- so I think I have one of my thermometers calibrated. Had it in a bag with ice and the water was starting to get "slushy". Temp read 32.2°F so pretty close! Used that to check the Brinsea and it is 1° cooler than its reading. The uglybator is spot on. (Yeah!)

In regards to the shipped eggs, I tried to candle some, but was NOT feeling confident so I have decided to leave them for 48 hours without turning and then try again. What are your thoughts? Good idea? @Sally sunshine
