Just got back, my girl sure is sad about her surgery! poor dog! Vet said good timing she was coming into heat!

She is resting in a kennel I put in my bedroom so she wont jump on the bed. She is a bit perturbed at me, but she wouldn't be the first one.

its for her own good. She had two great litters for us!

2 of the serama still didnt pip who knows what day they are on. But this humidity is doing them good. There is a cute black one and a cute yellow one!

I had to get shells out! they were getting the other eggs stuck in them!

Homeschoolers still have to do school! (My family homeschooled) what subject are you behind in right now? Get lots done on the boring stage because you don't want to be doing calculus or physics while they are hatching!

Electric is fine. Nothing went out. Felt like our bed was on a wonky washing machine during the spin cycle though! Guess the Oklahoma quake was felt all the way up in Kansas city!

Juno's got a girl friend! One of my broody hatched boys has a girl friend! They were hatched Aug 9. He and she hang out together, dust bathe together. So far, Jack does not take exception to the fact that there are 2 up and coming cockrels in his flock. No crowing from them yet, but both of the cockrels are showing their maleness in their behavior. Jack will even still allow the boys to tidbit from him.

Tons and tons on hatching and all kinds of stuff on chickens.we are getting a baby potbelly pig later today so that will hold me over till tommorow I hope they start hatching tommorow ...Why do u put them dip in the air cell up,if they role and stuff during hatching.?

Wow, I miss a couple days and I'm behind 700 posts I'm no quitter though so I just spent 2 hours catching up. Just picked up 14 little Swedish Flower Hen babies at the post office this morning from GFF. (Bad moment of weakness. I had never even heard of them, long story...) hahaha Good luck to everyone who is in lockdown!

OMG that egg I dropped internally pipped!!! how it did I have no freaking clue!!! I didnt even notice it until I went to upload an image this morning for you all to show what started to hatch! and little lucas and I sat and watched it for about 20 minutes and I thought the thing may have been trying to zip aroung but was not getting footing and was just breaking the shell into bits and pieces so I took the top off the rest of the way and look!!!!!!! where I had dropped the little booger!!! HE IS FINE AND PIPPED!!! and looks like only a bit to absorb and pretty active and chirping. He aint got much shell around him so, pray he finishes up fast like he others! (ps thats NOT is top sitting there, his backside and top was busted to pcs day 18) Anyways..... Hatching has seriously begun I think 14 or so are out, luke counted lol..... even 2 serama have hatched but who knows when hen set on them

Yeah pretty yucky here too!!! On top of it it's my oldest 9th birthday and she is feverish and stuck at home. My poor girl.

No pips are nothing yes five and a half hours into day 19

Mine don't normally pip until until day 20 .....so unless you just want to keep staring I would go do something to preoccupy your time!
