Whew, I step away for a few hours and I have two catch up on three PAgEs, not POSTS! I better keep my running shoes on!

Thanks for the welcome @lazy gardener
Yeah, poor Frindizzle got overwhelmed with 621 posts in 24 hours!

ME TOO I was literally shaking thinking the effect Marek's might have on my flock, with each one being pets! (with the exeption of the black stars, but even those are really friendly and gentle)

Are you saying you have a young roo covering 14 hens?
I actually have a second seven month old Lavender too who is mainly for the two Lavender Orpingtons that are not of age yet. He doesn't do much breeding though, because my 7 month old buff/EE supposed to be a pullet is very dominant. There will be a couple more pullets in the spring. Why?

Okay, added a little back splash to the wire to cut down on floor debris, and placed the feeder and waterer inside to get an idea for location. Couldn't find any marbles or colored stones laying around the house, so I used small river rock. I'll probably start with the feeder sideways, but this looks like a good location once the chicks are a little older.

I hate those feeders, I swear I make more a mess tryin to open them than not! I switched to hanging feeders on chains with milk jugs cut off over top to keep the tards out of them!

I'm not staggered hatching

Glad it wasn't Marek's...
me too bubbles!!!
