I have 6 marans, 4 OE's, 3 blues, that are supposed to be F1 OE's, and 3 that are a day behind these others that were given to me by a friend that has a SG and Silkie together..paints. He has gotten paint SG's. That would be fun. See if I can find a photo of my lock down. See that large green one at the middle left side? That was the one that I thought was no good, it's pipped a nice big ol pip.

Beautiful eggs!! I can't wait for my OEs to start laying!! I have 8 pips now

Yes not oval.I ment rounded like a ball

My black copper marans eggs are much more round than my other breeds. Some are so round it's hard to tell the top from the bottom

I missed it, too, and I refuse to read 40 pages to find out what happened. Where did the eggs come from?

CH did you give the other eggs back to the broody? and did you mark them so you know which were the eggs she is supposed to be setting on in case another hen gives her some DEPOSITS???

If they were shipped they were not shipped far . from the time CH posted he was getting them until he posed was a little over 24 hours . behind again .
