thanks Rav, I restored it but its still acting up. Tomorrow it needs a good clean of registries and stuff.

I made watering stations out of totes....put my heated dish inside....provide drain holes...no real mess.....any water they splash drains out holes in floor.....granted their pen is dirt(sand) floor.covered with straw.
But they like it.....made igloo out of straw bales they hunker down in there when it's cold.....hen made a nest in there so I know where to go to get the morning egg......surprisingly they keep it relatively clean.

That would work... Exept none of my poultry go outside in winter, because of the snow..... If I put them out they fly right back too the coop.

Had an EE that tried that... she learned to come out when she got hungry and thirsty... those are good motivators...

No, not very deep, just large. Those other chickens got a lot of skin. It has turned black, stabbed over, and healing right up on both hens.
Edit- SCABBED over. Not Stabbed over...

Do any of you buy egg cartons and sell eggs? I was just pricing egg cartons. I have way too many 18 packs of fresh eggs in my fridge.... Just been giving them away to friends

Ducks love muddy muck, but they also love to be clean too... most don't realize it, but they really do...
