I know what you mean! I have over 60 varieties of tomato seeds. Have you checked out tomatofest or baker creek? They have wonderful varieties and they send an extra seed packet with your order.

Both places are terrific. I'm resisting the urge to buy more. My brother lives 5 minutes from the Baker Creek in Petaluma. Fun store. Disadvantage if I know he's coming to visit I'll have him stop in and pick up the latest greatest.

Good morning Benny! I agree with your diagnosis, but I think Bubbles has a less severe case tha CH !

I don't know..he just mentioned that he had them. He does some grafting. I'm always trying different kinds of tomatoes and peppers though.
But last year I had to give in to the fact that early girls were the best production tomatoes.
Still will have all the others but early girls are the ticket.
Need to find a good early paste tomato
My wife makes all her own sauces.

Good morning Phil, sorry I missed responding last night :frow
And good morning Whites! Keep running your mouth, everyone's experiences contribute here at Sally's house. :highfive:

Phil, we have similar growing seasons, and I experiment with different tomatoes each season as well found two early variety star fire and beef steak that work good here, but I do experiment each year! Kinda like my backyard mix experiments with my chickens! :gig

I assume you are aiming to this dish!

I'd appreciate you folks weighing in with your opinion on an issue I have right now.

My first incubation of the year is just finishing day 23, and I just removed a chick from its shell as it was not progressing at all. Its sac is fully absorbed and it looks perfectly normal, but of course its not fully standing and is still a bit messy. So I don't want to put it out into my brooder yet, but I'd plan to set fresh eggs in an hour.

So I'm thinking to just leave the little chick in with the new eggs for another 24 hours till he's a bit more acclimated to life outside an egg shell.

Good idea, or bad idea. I really don't have another alternative other than to keep him in a box at 70F.

It was meant as a compliment and encouragement Whites. I know you have no issue contributing
Just wanted all the lurkers to know their input is appreciated as well, newbie or experienced, we all have something to share
Taken as intended...I just like to rattle cages & keep whatever's in the pot from sticking
