Sorry you had a rough day local....I did too. Other day my friend asked me to come over to see if I could figure out what was wrong with his starter on his jeep.
I went over....told him starter was fine...motor was locked up.
He thought I was B.S.ing him. Today I went over to help him pull it out. It wasn't locked up anymore. He said "see"....I looked at it again before we did anything. Showed him the big hole in the side of the block. .....:/
Then I helped him start pulling the motor.

I'm looking at a town car right now that the whole engine just jerks when you try to start it.
I am hoping the starter is just stuck
If it's the engine I don't want the car.
Which would be too bad
It's a BEAUTIFUL near cherry 95, with less than 60k on it.
Thoughts?
Oil and coolant are at the proper levels, coolant looks like chit though.
Heater core was bypassed years ago.
