Pictures of construction would be great. I work for a builder here in Sacramento wood frame only. Long ago out of the construction part of it though. Quality control at this point
That R factor is great.

Did you say that Isbars are good chickens back at the ny Hal?
I ended up with what I think are SFH and Altsteirer. Any thoughts on either of them as well ? I may have at least a pair of each.

Here are a couple more pictures. Top one is a door in a chapel we built, lower one is the studio where we make stuff! My glass studio is the upper story with the clamshell roof.
I'll take some construction pictures for you when I go back to work next week....We just did a cement poor Thursday.

I don't know much about Isbars...

Rain finally came but is light.

Just after saying we won't get rain it sprinkled here for about an hour. Just long enough to make the slip and slide of a pen that I need to do work in slippery. Going to try and move birds to a dry covered pen. Deep liter does really well when dry not so much when it gets the rain we've had. :sick

This only happens this much when I incubate, so it's gotta be an incubation issue.

I'm starting to think it's the R-com turning. I have had some hatches, like a recent Serama hatch, that were all malpositioned, but none were in a different bator. They seem to do fine if I prop them up and hand turn them instead. Hopefully yours will do better when you change the air fin so that the air circulates one direction. That would be a nice easy fix.

The chapel looks similar to a chapel on the coast in Sea Ranch Ok on the Isbars. Must have been someone else that had them and mentioned them to me. Did you have a medium sized bird that you liked?

@Sally Sunshine or @ anyone... after taking the 2 hatched ducklings out of the hatcher/bator last night, they are fine, But the 4 other duck eggs that were pipping when I took the ducks out have not had any movement in the past 12 hours. I saw one rocking shortly after taking the 2 ducklings out and another one has pipped a little more and I can see some brown embryo (gewh--for lack of a better word) squishing out of a pip/crack. Other than this mentioned, I have not seen any advance piping or movement.
The eggs are on DAY 30, what should I do?
any help is welcomed

That's because IT IS the chapel at Sea Ranch!

I work for James Hubbell. We did the chapel about 30 years ago.

I only tried riding a dirt bike once many years ago. Let's just say I won't be doing that again. Used to ride regular bikes a lot. As in bicycle
you never rode!! Even I rode and had a old yamaha 110 growing up looked almost like this one but it was beat to chit. and the seat all torn. My dad used to race when I was a young girl.

My br chick's leg will not go straight. It gets around fine, but I have been keeping paper tape on it because the leg is bruised looking below the hock. Since it is an off color and even has red and she holds it up without tape the others peck it or grab it and tow her. Any suggestions for getting the color less noticing other than tape (blu-kote does not work).
