your not a sucker you have a great heart, I was once there too sweets, the more you incubate and if you go into selling and shipping chicks you learn to let go quick. I guess even that comes with experience.

you didnt brine them before you froze them for a day or two? good for you, did you pluck them?
I Plucked the *&^% outta em

I did not freeze them

They are resting for 2 days before freezing.

One will go straight into the oven bypassing the freezer

Thank you. I hope that I'm strong enough to cull the weak when the time comes, for now I know my husband has little to no problem with it.

Jessimom 12 shipped Salmon Favorelles and 11 shipped Cochins set on 1/15, should hatch on 2/4. I also have 12 of my own silkies set on 1/23, should hatch 2/12.
Hi Sally,

Now mine should say

All 12 shipped SFs look good, 9 shipped Cochins still going strong but 2 had blood rings. Should hatch on 2/4. 8 of my silkies set to hatch 2/12 (4 clears). 12 shipped Blue/Splash silkies and 2 shipped green egg layers (bielefelders/cream legbars cross) set on 1/31. I have 20 more green egg layer eggs that will be set once the 2/4 eggs move to the other 'bator.

Thank you so much for keeping track of all this!
