I think my girls are mad at me because there's no hay in the boxes.   I can't put any in them until the hay dries out. All of the new eggs I've gotten have been tiny. I'm too used to my Buckeyes' eggs.

Tell me about it. This is one of the reasons I stopped raising AGF aside from them being glorified lawn ornaments. 

Rusty farm equipment makes a better glorified lawn ornament and it does require upkeep.

Yes during incubation. Look at Sallys notes on sticky chicks.

 At least they made good broodies... until they got bored and started eating the developing chicks out from under the broodies. I went out to check on the eggs I had under them one time and found RIR and RIR/BA chicks in the middle of the coop as well as a duck egg I was counting on them hatching because I had lost my duck hen to heart attack. I sold them the entire flock of AGF the next day and finished the hatch in my incubator.
