Just keep Windex & Kleenex handy; too many nose prints on the glass screw up the visibility

Has anyone actually used gum bands as leg bands? I don't want to make it too tight (obviously) so if anyone has an idea of how many times I need to twist it around...

I actually used the little gum bands that are for girls hair. Kinda like these

I have discovered that if I sit on one end of the couch I an lean over far enough to see but it doesn't for up the bator. But I hear the house chores calling me guess I am not meant to just sit and watch.
