Not sure whether antlers would work; he hasn't tried that I know of. He's made pens with bodies of layered leather, I know. He made one for me with pipe tobacco flakes under acrylic...pretty wild.
I must've deleted the pics...can't find them...I'll try to take some of the ones I got here.

Acrylics are fun to work with. Haven't tried leather. Thought about using different colored egg shells. Even OSB particleboard works a cool pen. I really like how olive turns.
