how goes?...I thought when I was skimming through you said something about your bowling?
I don't plan on washing them, I was worried about bad bacteria growing on them. Thank you!Don't wash the eggs, but I scrape everything off with my fingernails, just to help. It shouldn't be too much of a worry, I've hatched really dirty eggs
I would but they are currently laying in small pet carries until my dad can give me a hand building some proper nesting boxes, but I'll have to see what I can do .Any way you could cover the front of the nest box with plywood, with a hole large enough for a hen to get into comfortably, and raised enough so she has to step up That should keep the bedding in place.
