I've been out of commission for several days. I had a bad cough for a few weeks but went way down hill last week. I finally relented Sunday and went to urgent care. They suspected pneumonia and didn't want to treat me cause they didn't want to charge me and still send me to the hospital. They wanted to call me an ambulance. I said no thanks. I still had to go home and take care of the chickens for the night and possibly the next day. I spent the night in the hospital but after chest x-rays and being a pin cushion for multiple blood tests they determined it wasn't pneumonia but a real bad case of bronchitis. My oxygen was hovering around 90 or less. No wonder I hadn't had any energy for the last week or so.
I look like a junkie. The nurse was a young guy that was not very good at hitting veins. My veins are big and thick looking more like interstate interchanges. He hit me 8 times on my right arm and decided to start pockmarking my left arm. He hit me 5 times there before he was happy he'd abused me enough.
When they removed the last needle for discharge I got dressed and when walking out my arm felt cold. I was bleeding like a stuck pig. The sleeve of my sweater and jacket were soaked in blood, it was running down my hand onto my pants. I had to go back in and get redressed.
I'm feeling a bit stronger. I filled the prescriptions for antibiotics and prednisone. Decided to forgo the ones for pain and inhaler.

Here's a good way to waste 3+ minutes.

@Sally Sunshine
@casportpony is this a leg that needs a straw splint and shoe or is it something else? She was splatted yesterday like the ones that died so I didn't mess with it. That was the first time I noticed it, but with 48 chicks and 18 dying in 30 hours forgive me.

They like the second bulb.
Evening everyone!
Look what someone at work through out.

@Akrnaf2 Benny, with all your wonderful food, I wish you could have been here to cook my home grown T-bone steak. What I did to it was a sacrilege. Still good though
