thanks it is definitely feeling like spring in Colorado, suppose to be 70 today.
Thanks, How are you today? I also ment to ask you if that hygrometer you posted last night is a stick one or flat? I couldn't tell based on the packaging. Thanks
I'm alive and drinking coffee. That was a thermo/hygro combo unit. Maybe about 1"- 1 1/2" in diameter and about 1/2" thick. Fits perfectly in an egg slot in the auto turner.

Hi all!
Guess who gets to candle tomorrow?!
Howdy

Well thats always a good thing , i love spring , here in Florida has been great weather sunny yet cool breeze love it

Yes thank you every thing is fine! We are in full spring by now.
And how your floc is doing?
well, my replacement flock is in the works. I have Christmas and January 21 chicks (13) are in the grow out chicken tractor, the rest are in the brooder and incubator with two more batches of eggs to come. The ones in the brooder have been a tough bunch the latest issue is a chick with spraddled/twisted leg.
This weekend I get to clean and sterilize the main coop from the ms and be able to get the brooders out of my house and into the coop :jumpy :celebrate

This is my brooder setup the big brooder has nine meat birds in it right now age 3 1/2 weeks but those pooping machines are headed to the garden chicken run on my next day off. I like them up on milk crates so cleaning isn't so difficult Tractor supply sells empty milk crates too. The little birds are partridge Cochin crossed with rir or barred rock and this is a current pic at 11 days old.

I am looking for gators

We will have chicken drumsticks in the oven with a sauce made of mustard, honey, Silan=( date syrup), some soya sauce, and chilly.
We will also have some beef brisket slow cocked in spices and red wine, to this we will have some nice salads, fresh fruits, desert and coffee!

That sound Delish!!!!!!
