My mom just called to ask me when the chicks that she took home can go outside. I told her that they had to be feathered. She started complaining that they keep jumping out of the box and running all over her house and she doesn't have another tub that's taller. I asked if she had a screen on the top, she said no. Problem solved.
That is too funny!
Sure...it's mostly water
True! Unless you put a spoonful of coffee grounds in your mouth, and swallow only a sip of water to get it down.
The grandfather thing doesn't hold much weight depending on how badly the powers that be want to eradicate some activity. There was a hog farm here for many decades. A city was created around it. Then, a subdivision was built around it. (Didn't the developer know there was a hog farm there already?)
I'm sure the developer figured he could use their financial power to put this guy out of business. It worked.
He was forced out.
That really is too common!
Thats depends on who you ask. Unless Superman tried to rescue her and thats why she now says who even cares.
?? Should I not ask?
doesn't mean you'll get a straight answer

Hope you're able to get some good rest tonight.
Wish me luck! First time incubating chicken eggs in my DIY incubator. It's made mostly from stuff I already had around including: Omaha Steaks styrofoam cooler Lamp and cord from scented wax burner. Uses small socket bulbs. I'm using a 20W. hardware cloth for shelf 2l bottle for thermal mass 2 dollar store picture frames for double pane viewing window. old computer fan extension cord misc 5V DC output transformer, ie wall wart arduino (I used a pro mini) relay board (generic 2 relay module from Aliexpress) Dallas 18B20 temp sensor (and pull up resistor) NRF24L 2.4Ghz radio module OK maybe everyone doesn't have some of the last parts on hand, but I have a DIY home automation system that uses these parts as well. That's actually why there is a wireless module attached. The incubator reports back the temperature to the home automation server. If it falls above or below my preset values, it will send me a text.
Here are some pics of the incubator with it's first ever batch of eggs. Looking through the lid's window.
