Makes sense.Whites...my husband is a mechanic...this is what he just said:
It's best to check with volt meter starting at battery. Make sure at least 12.4v. Then check voltage at solenoid making sure it's within .5v of battery voltage then check voltage at starter while cranking making sure battery voltage stays above 12.4
If all that checks out its the starter
Was actually thinking of checking the solenoid with a screwdriver between the 2 posts...old trick I learned from working on my old Fords years ago. I guess I need to get a volt meter.
