We were going back to visit and my brother asked me to bring some. He started laughing and told me I didn't have to open the ice chest. He said the dogs kept going back to the bag. They weren't indicating drugs, but they couldn't leave it alone.

He let us go.

That's a good story.

On dropping off animals for necropsy. At Mizzou they have to have a human sign in the specimens. They get dogs every night.

It's easily a 8-10 hour round trip for me. And it's $85 if on regular hours. My last one was on a holiday weekend and it cost me 115.

Ouch, it took me 2 1/2 hours to get there and 2 hours to get home. That's just a little more than half of your trip. I hope you don't have to go there very often!!!

I've only been there twice. The problem is time away from home. At today's gas prices, it's cheaper and faster to drive the specimen there than to ship.
