I've been told it's all dry and crispy...is it ok to cut off? You say high...is that as close to belly button as possible? It won't bleed out will it? Trying to instruct over the phone! Very hard and stressful!

If it really is yolk sac no don't cut it off. From the way it sounds, it sounds like it's just left over umbilical stuff. Umbilical stuff will come off on it's own and doesn't need cut.

X2, dry & crispy doesn't sound like yolk..... At least from what I'm trying to figure out without pics...
