Thank you! She had her body clip her original pony last weekend after her "meltdown" during her lesson, and I thought that did a lot of good for her; but now that lesson day has come up again she is saying she doesn't want to ride. Thanks for the advice! I am not good at this horse stuff since I have an awful fear of them. (I have to be mindful to not let my own fear take over and be like, okay, don't ride anymore, it's too scary! HA!)

No way!!! Some of my chicks have the start of wing feathers already!!!

Let her take a riding break but make sure she still goes to the barn and does chores and grooming
maybe see if they'll let her do some ground work with the original pony (the cyclops)
it takes time but she'll overcome it

just being hands on is good therapy, and the trainer knew that other horse had an issue hence needing a video- she put your daughter in danger on purpose,

what she SHOULD have done was LUNGED THE HORSE on a long line rather than put A 9 YEAR OLD ON AN INJURED HORSE
