Who's got solutions for a wild kid who is bad and disruptive at school? He's in pre-k this year and needs the social structure and speech therapy. We've tried positive reinforcement (rewards for good marks) and punishments (from loss of tv time to outright spankings). He's a wild kid with a good heart, he can be caring and empathetic and helpful. He can also be a holy terror, and it's usually all or nothing. He's got a pretty severe speech delay and I wonder how many problems this is causing. In 18 days of school he has had a perfect day only 6 times. Most days he has accrued 3-4 different infractions.

have you had his hearing checked?
Quote: Nope. Bottom frame of the trailer not high enough to keep any but the bottom piece from sliding forward, wanted to put a board in front to eliminate that problem, but then 12' lumber wouldn't allow tailgate to close.Thought I had the hangover tightened down pretty well on the top of the tailgate, but one of the boards slid forward 'til the ground stopped it, under the truck. No real damage done, just a pain in the butt.
i love meebrong"Meebrong, no one likes you. You are not memorable..."

time, i have seen many new comers to my daycare/preschool they get into it once they have friends and start the projects and fun stuffIt's his first time anywhere. He never went to daycare. They think he's been raised by wolves. Judging by his form and technique when he's howling through the grocery store, then maybe he has.![]()
Try getting him very involved in something at home that he really enjoys; a hobby of some kind that produces tangible results. Might work, might not; only thing I can offer.Who's got solutions for a wild kid who is bad and disruptive at school? He's in pre-k this year and needs the social structure and speech therapy.
