Morning y'all.

We took the kids camping yesterday. It was pretty fun and went well until tent time. It was just too hot, so we bailed.

I used to think camping was fun... until I hit about 15... then I realized if I go camping, I want to use an RV. with aC, bug control... and a softer bed. LOL

Camping is our hobby and profession. DH goes backpacking about a dozen times a year. He has tons or awesome gear, and there were hardly any bugs which is rare for us. Poor bubba just couldn't get settled, and I lost my patience with him. DH and I agreed: we'd give him 30 minutes to settle then call it. He was close, I think, but I was about to lose my mind. So at 9 pm we broke camp and drove home.

@ChickenCanoe

Do you put rootX directly in the septic tank? I use ridX every month in the tank, but I think it's more for good bacteria.

I'm in the same boat. If mine fails now I have to hook up to the city 500 feet away. But before that I have to get permission to go through my neighbors and their associations green belt area. That would take forever and could not afford that either.
No, the rootX has to go through the pipe to the septic tank. You can put it in the earliest cleanout or in a toilet.
I've done it both ways. You have to mix the 2 chemicals (mixing funnel) just before pouring in. When it gets wet it makes a gel that coats the pipe and any roots. It kills the roots but not the tree. If you put it in a toilet, you have to have a 5 gallon bucket of water ready so you can flush it all down. Pour it in while flushing the toilet and immediately put the 5 gallons in. If you put it in a cleanout, you have to run sinks and showers to flush it through the pipe.

ridX is for bacteria and won't work for roots. You can't use them at the same time either. If you do the rootX, you need to wait weeks or months before using the ridX and vice versa.
When the guy rooted out the pipe it was the dead of winter with a snow cover. It was nasty.

I think it would al be pricey but I can't imagine that going under 2 roads wouldn't be very expensive.

49* @ 7 this morning; flannel shirt feels good. Only making it to 74. Love it!
We'll get there in the next few days.

57 now. 93 high

Morning Whites
We rarely have that disparity unless we switch from a southerly to a northerly wind or vice versa.
This time of year is the only time it gets hot during the day and comfortable at night. In summer, if it's hot during the day, it's hot all night too - and humid.

Also since I use spent grain would the percentage of protein be up due to the sugars being removed?
My first guess would be yes but I'd have to do more research on that.

Yea warmer weather has come back. At least for a few days.
I thought we were done with 90+ about 10 days ago but it's been in the 90s all week.

1 for 1 is a great accomplishment. Knowing all are productive.

One more day of 90 and then we cool off into the70's also.. Makes me so happy

Same here. Turning the air off tonight.

When young, we camped in ALL weather. Now I can't do summer. Fall, winter, spring are all good. I'm an outdoors person but not a fan of bugs. I can put more clothes on if it is cold and I hate to sweat.
