Incubation progress of Muscovy eggs

I don't like that vein right there, Lets wet her and give her another two hours, lets see if that Vein shrinks any. I would hate to mess with her and have it break. When you wet her make sure the Snot/Yolk stuff isn't around her nose, we don't need it covering her nose and blocking her air way, If you can take the qtip and wipe some of it on the qtip and then send a pic, perhaps with it on something White will give us a better idea if it's an actually Snot ball or Yolk. She is loosing more Space, so that's good she's getting bigger. the air space is ONLY from one end of the beak to the other so she's about Half way there.

I know youre thinking HALF WAY OMG, it's already been 4 hours we have another 4 more hours, LOL and the answer is NO, We have longer then that. LOL

I took it off - I bumped it off with the Q-tip when I was wetting her earlier.

OH GOOD, because if it went into the shell it could have cut a vein opened. WHEW

Hey - all good things are worth waiting for - so I'm in. Gonna wet her now, and try to clean off some of the goo...check in at 1? And are you SURE you want to keep doing this? I made this happen - but you did not...and are not obligated to stay up all night!

I have some online work to do so it's no problem, I usually don't get to sleep until 3 or 3:30 so no problem for me.

You have a better picture of her but it does look like she's got Half that egg filled up... she may still have some yolk to absorb but I think she can do it.

Clean her nostrils I can see sticky gooy stuck on her beak right on the Boarderline of the Membrane..

Wet her but Not as much, Looks like she maybe getting sticky... She's got some really thick gooy stuff on her body, that I can see. I'm sure we can safely get that head out if your up for it..

If you Look at her shell, it's now half and half with two different tones of colors, where the hole is and down halfway it's darker, Too much water, Decrease the wetting down. Because you have the humidity in the correct position now, you don't need to soak her has much..

Not sure if this is good or not...but the "yellow goo" is not "goo" at all - it is actually just the membrane. There is no "snot" or yolk present...She peeped three times and "yawned" 6 while I was wetting her...now she is back in the incubator.
