Incubation progress of Muscovy eggs

I would give the vitamins instead, wouldn't try the sugar water, its just to give him a little boost and get that blood flowing. If you have some Polyvisol and Poultry drench that would be good just a couple of drops.
That's one reason I like the Nutri drench it can be given straight. not sure about poly vi sol.

No...should I? I have some Nekton S for our parrots...and can head to the store and get some poly-vi-sol if I should! I have seen recipes online for homemade electrolytes for chickens....I can make some of that, too.

NEKTON S Looks OK to give, let me see how much though because it may be different for ducks..

Ugh! I am getting confused with the numbers....let's say that we have had 4-10 "hatch" or die in shell and of those 7, 4 are alive...not sure I remember the order exactly, so I am getting the numbers confused.

OK, #4 was the first one and he died at 5 in the morning that's the one I could kick my butt for that one.
#5 was the one who we jumped on, he was the first one out completely -SKIPPY
#6 was the one with more issues then we could handle died in the shell was facing towards the pointed end
#7 was the one with the enlarged head, bleeding inside shell - TROOPER
#8 made it out -TULIP
#9 made it out on his own - BREEZE
#10 is Mr. Backwards. - ALCATREZ

There I think I got them all now.. Scoreboard 3 Losses 4 Wins..

I think polyvisol can be given straight. But if your nekton s is somewhat fresh, I'd say that would work perfectly well, maybe even better since it has amino acids as well as vitamins.
I have had the bottle for a while - I would bet it may be expired. Still using it for the parakeets, canaries, doves, and finches.

FYI - just candled 11 (on day 35). The inner membrane is pipped, we can hear the rhythmic beat (turns out that's BREATHING, according to the website Kathy sent the link to yesterday), and see lots of movement, including the beak pecking at the shell. Should we make a safe hole, or wait?

Candled 12, 13 and 14, which are all also in lockdown. Don't see any movement.

OK - Mark has to go out now if he's going out...should we use the likely expired Nekton, or go out and get some polyvisol?
