My daughter and I are building an incubator to hatch out some chicks. She is all excited to get going we built oour brooder box on Saturday and hope to have the incubator finished by this weekend and start saving some eggs to hatch out. keep us informed as your eggs hatch out good luck

Hey i know that people candle eggs . Is there certain time during the hatch that this is best ?
I heard it was like the 7th day 14th day 18th day is this accurate ?

I am in north central wa. hey, my babies some that were due 19th- but I put them in late in the day 3 weeks ago so I guess to day is really their day, they are peeping and we have a peck hole. I am down to 11 eggs some due wed. or thurs. but hopefully we have 4 due anytime here. the peepers with peck holes were also fridge eggs I got from a lady who sold them to eat.

I just got another batch of fridge eggs from a friend, we ate some and I am incubating another batch, I built a cute little box incubator 8''x9'' for 6 eggs, day 4 and we have activity. such pretty little rainbow eggs.
