Incubator overheated, eggs have no air cell??

Oh, yea! I'm so happy to hear your chicks hatched.

The waiting is horrible isn't it?

hello everyone.
ive recently misplaced the temperature probe of my incubator and left it outside the box, meaning the thermostat never detected excess temperature, leaving the eggs to heat up... i realized after about three hours and i never got to know what temperature was reached until i noticed. i candled them 24 hours later and the vast majority of them look fine and clear with veins and embryos. they are a week old and are being kept at 37.5 degrees at 60% humidity. can i be sure they will survive since only about three out of sixty eggs had clouded up and lost a vast amount of visible veins... is it true that 24 hours later after an embryo dies the veins disintegrate and disappear?

cheers
jerome
