Incubator shipping tomorrow!!!!

Did you get the humidifier with it as well? That is the model I got. I figured for the little extra it was worth it for me.

The only problems are ran into was this:

-I do not have a lot of upper body power and I was not able to screw the 4 screws into the automatic egg turner. I will leave that for my husband!

- I thought the instructions said to remove the clear lid where the fan is to hook up the power cord. This is not correct of course. So I had to put all the screws back in the clear plastic.

- Egg turner must be put together on a falt surface. I put it together on my lal and when I put it on the shelf, It was not sitting flat. Once I loosen the screws it layed flat and I tighten them again.

It took my about 25 mins because I was stupid and took the clear plastic lid apart. I thought thats where the power cord went. It should only take about 15-20 mins with turner. 5-10 without turner.

No. I plan on doing mostly dry incubations but its always a option. I think its $99 or something.

Wow....this thing turns a lot more often the my egg turner in my LG. Its be put together for a couple hours and its made at least 4 full turns. Maybe 6. My temp fluxuates between 99.5-99.7

artathart: Glad to hear you got your incubator! I wish Friday can get hear a little sooner! I have never thought about selling eggs before due to the fertility.
I do have one question. When you plug the power cord in do you hear like a click or something when its in all the way, I don't know if I got mine in all the way. I wiggled it in for about 5 minutes, so it should be in.

So are you getting a second one them. Am I understanding you right? You have one coming on Friday but the one you currently have you want to know about the power cord?

The answer is No. I tried really hard to get my power cord in the hole but it just didnt seem to want to go in flush so I took it back out and tried again. Same thing. I just pushed it in as hard as I could but it never layed flush.

I assume a new thread will be started and it will say something like "4/15 Hatch along, Join us". But we need to make sure that cackydoodledoo Gets her brinsea in time. SHe is worried she will not have enough time to allow her Brinsea to run prior to putting her eggs in. I have had mine running since aroun 1:20-2:00 this afternoon. It stays around 99.7. Does yours stay right at 99.5 or move up and down a little?
