Incubator temp problems

I have an brinsea octagon 40 digital incubator an I always have problems with the temp regulation. I have moved it to all different rooms in my house and the temp never seems to be right but I always have a fairly decent hatch. I had it running for 24 hours and the temp was perfect and now it’s just went out of control. At the minuite it is regulating around 38.2 even though I have tried many times to lower it it’s day 4 and I spent quite a lot of money on hatching eggs so I don’t want to mess this up. Any pointers ? Will my eggs be okay ?

38.2 degrees Celsius that is

38.2 is too high. I usually set 37,7.
Did you have any another thermometer? Did you check your temperature sensor?

Have you calibrated a thermometer to check the built in one?
