incubators and which to buy?

Ok I'm debating with my self.

should I go w/the new Brinsea Mini they hold a max of 10 eggs for a price of 149.99 that comes w/turner
or get lil giant circ air w/turner for 128.75 it holds 30 eggs.

I've heard Brinsea is awesome but is it worth sacrificing the space for?

I have an LG...they are touchy...but once you know how they work and you can set your temp/humidity...its easy to understand it...I heard on another thread about the other bator..think they said they didnt like it, DONT QUOTE ME, RESEARCH IT...if you go LG let me know have tons of notes on it...good luck.

I have a hovabator 2362N. Never have trouble with setting it...easy to work with...good luck with whatever you choose. I paid about 140 total with the turner...that would hold 41 or 42 eggs.

You are going to LOVE your new incubator!!!!

I have the same one you just bought and it has worked great. I hatched chicken, quail, peacock and geese eggs with it and never had any problems. I also have the egg turner but never really used it. I love to turn the eggs myself, candle them and make a spread sheet with all the info. The egg turner just looked too "plastickie" for me and I didn't trust it lol

I guess the only thing I didn't really like about it is that the bottom of the insert is made of metal. I ended up putting some kitchen towels on top of it the day the chicks were due to hatch so they didn't get hurt when they got out of the eggs but I've heard some people buying the same style insert made of plastic which is easier to clean and is not so harsh on the chicks when they hatch.
