Awesome find on the Cabinet incubator. I don't need one of those. I love the hatching, but I would not be able to deal with that many chicks!!!
As it is, I just sold 2 roosters - admittedly for only $10 a piece, and a pullet (I think) for $10 and a laying hen for $10 since they took the 2 roos. I also dropped off 2 roosters at the feed store - that shows that $10 per rooster is WAY better than free to the feed store. The ones I gave away were a silkie, and an Ayam Cemani/EE mix. It had adorable puffy cheeks. I hope it finds a home and isn't eaten. I lost one of it's hatch mates as a chick and I cut it open - it had the black all the way through. Bones, organs, skin and flesh. That isn't anything I would want to eat myself.
So, I'm down 4 roosters. That just leaves about 20 more that just aren't crowing yet. A cabinet incubator, would give me a HUGE inrush of chicks, whereas I like small hatches every week.
