Hi thanks the temp is very stable at 37.5 someone has now said the temp should be at 37.7 is this why my humidity is to high my book says temp should be 37.5 and humidity at 58% what do you think ?

different incubators have slightly different settings because they are of different designs and the temperature sensors are in different locations around the incubator. It is always best to go with the manufacturers instructions because of this.

go with your instructions if it says 37.5 go with that.... 37.5 is 99.5 F..37.7 is 99.86, 37.8 is 100.04 no real confusion i gave you all the numbers so if it runs just a bit high or low mine will go up to 37.8 sometimes on its own or even a little low you won't worry...there is a range. if your hatch is late then bump it up a little next time every machine is different.

My incubator runs at 37.8 and my old hatcher would run about the same in summer but the winter we had to adjust it to 38.8 to keep temp. You need to see what works for you. The probe can only be in one place.

Ok the temperature I can try and fiddle about with the humidity is driving me nuts lol ;) what is highest and the lowest for duck eggs as it will not stabilise not water 52% 4ml it's at 65% so as you can see its abit of a fiddle eny suggestions
