Incuview Incubator

@Ms Biddy Please keep me posted if this helps. :) I'm thinking of doing the same thing but nervous to break the lid. currently have 3 pea eggs, 5 turkey eggs & 10 guinea eggs in :)

Ideally, Incubator Warehouse would include two vent holes in their lids. Many other incubators have two holes. It would be much easier for them to drill them before the control module is installed. Besides the possibility of cracking the lid, I could have damaged the module, accidentally hit the wiring or got plastic shavings inside the circuit board. It was a risky choice but with my humidity holding steady and the humidikit only pumping in fresh air every 10 minutes or so I was uncomfortable with the lack of airflow inside.

So, it's just plastic and not even glass??? At least Incuview isn't ridiculous with their prices like R-Com or Brinsea.... it's somewhat reasonable, the Incuview's price tag.

It's hard plastic, fairly thick. I'm happy with the quality for the price, but as you can see I've made modifications. It's very hard putting water in the floor tray and almost impossible to see the levels. The humidikit alleviates that headache, at a price. Mine is almost silent when it's on and it's incredibly easy to clean. It's also easy to use and of course the view is great.

....and of course the view is great.
That was the big attraction for me...plus the great reviews and especially the manufacturer support here on the forum and IRL.
There are several things that could be improved, but every product has those aspects.

What do you think about the Nurture Right 360? That one looks goooood, I really like the design of it!! You think it can take down your Incuview in a head to head battle?!!

I like the Nurture Right 360 and would consider it as a second incubator. At the time of my purchase it was still very new and there were some significant bugs being worked out, first the missing fan guard that caused some chicks to have their beaks bloodied and then the missing humidity seal that was causing the circuit panels to fry out. It made sense to me to go with the Incuview and let Harris Farms straighten things out which hopefully they have. The Incuview also holds 5 more eggs, which does make a difference to me.

Well, that was smart of you! Maybe @SimoneG can try that for now. I ran the temperature sensor for the humidikit through there so mine is a little more crowded now.
I took it out when I ran the humidikit sensors through. yes they make it rather tight through it.... the cord strainer is still around the original cords, incase I needed to put it back
