Indian runner duck eggs aren't hatching

I have 6 Indian duck runner eggs. Im on day 30 almost 31 and so far only 1 has hatched. 2 grew the wrong way and didn't survive. The person I got the eggs from stored them pointy end up so im thinking that's the problem with those.
1 has just finally pipped into the air sack. But the last 2 don't look ready. There is small movement inside and it looks like the yoke is basically absorbed. At what point do I need to intervene if ever?
I have heard of making a tiny hole in the egg to the air sack? Any suggestions?
