I go to cagebird shows too. Woot! lol Do you go to the CICBC ones? I go to those, and to the Southern Ohio Bird Fairs, when they've been in New Albany... And they are having one in Greenwood March 7th.

That's not a bad idea. I forgot to bring cash with me last year (stupid, I forgot to stop at an ATM on my way to Indianapolis), so I stood back and watched everyone winning in the raffle and I was so frustrated cause I couldn't buy any raffle tickets! Not this year though, I'm coming with cash! Lol! I want to partake in the raffle AND I want to buy birds. Plus I should have birds to sell too, so hopefully it will all work out!

Hopefully, I should have some b/b/s orps, silkies, and EE juvies for sale by then. I'm hatching eggs as we speak. If anyone is interest let me know. These are the three breeds I would like to focus on.

I have some purchased eggs and a fwe of my own due to hatch on March 7th. I didn't have any of my own hatch out the last batch.

I will let you know what colors I end up with. I personally have 6 eggs with a blue roo over white and buff hens. The purchased eggs were a vairety of colors. There was 1 buff, 4 cuckoo, 3 white, two, black, 2 blue, and 2 blue/splash. We will see what hatches. Oh and may want to get rid of my buff hens.

Heather, I got two orps from you last summer. Do you have any others? I am looking for buff and white hens. I just hatched out two blues and three black orps. I think the two bles are girls. I will be keeping on of them.

No-they were from a contest. Miss Prissy had a contest to "Guess when Cocoa will Kid" and I was the closest, so she sent me a box full of duck and chicken eggs. They were the only ones that hatched, due to an inexperienced person incubating

I understand. I set 25 eggs on my first hatch and only got the five orp babies. Hopefully, the second batch will be better. Especially with these silkie eggs!
