Indiana 2010 Chickenstock-2011 NEWS!!

Yeah my showgirl Cotton and my wyandotte roo Bubba got into a fight when Kathleen,Rob and me were eating at a place. So Cotton has been separated from the flock during the day unless I'm out there. He sleeps in a wire cage in the coop away from the others. Then he is put in the big dogpen during the day. I tried letting Cotton and Bubba out at the same time with the girls but Cotton just wouldn't back down... So I'm thinking Cottons gonna have to go since I don't have any silkies. There's a little girl that my mom knows who had a silkie named Papa but he turned mean since they bought him at an auction. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with my fuzz ball. The neighbors like him the most.

Kathleen I hope you dont mind but I thought this may be a great place to post a few chicks I have for sale.. ( If it is a bad thing please just ask me to remove it) ..

So i have 10 Cornish X that are almost two weeks old .. $3.00 a peice

Plus two Red Neck Showgirl Roos (this boys have been aggressive with my girls) ... FREE.. Otherwise they gonna be dinner..

Does anyone close to Indianapolis raise Narragensett turkeys, call ducks, silkies, and mille fleur D'uccles?

I'm looking for some for my friend. She lost all of her birds in a fire a few weeks ago...

Hey CC, AC and Egg-Newton:
Sorry for the late response, been really busy!

CC-the turkeys are doing great except one, it has a little problem but getting better by the day. Thanks so much for your help. Oh, you may want to raise their protein higher if you want to slaughter at 8 weeks!! Also, it was sooo good to see you and all your awesome birds!! Can't wait to see how the X's come out. Oh, I need that little cochin girl to come over too

I have red silkie chicks and white ones, but the only adult birds I have are my breeders. Let me know if that would help--would be glad to donate to the cause. I would hate it if I lost all of mine!
