I understand. We hosted it up here one year too, and it does get crazy. Thanks for all you've done the last few years!

It's kinda nice to rotate around to different places. Hopefully someone will come up with a good idea.

Thank you, Kathleen and Rob, for the great party the last two years.

I certainly understand not undertaking it again--a great deal of work and expense.
So, folks, it's up to us. What ideas does anyone have? We could always look into renting a pavilion at a fairgrounds so that we're not putting so much work on any one person or couple, preferably around central Indiana so that people from either end wouldn't have so far to come.
I'll post on the other two Indiana threads to try to reach people who may no longer be subscribed to this one--but probably not tonight--still have chicks to care for and papers to grade!

We'll hopefully be having one here in south-central KY around May, but that probably won't help with you upper IN people

I'll shall look around here.. Have a cabin by a creek but with water danger/no bathrooms probably wouldn't be an option.

Trying to get my foot in the door with the poultry people at the Marion County Fairgrounds so that might be a place but not right now.

sorry everyone but come chickenstock time I'm going to be about to pop with our second baby so I can't undertake it here

But can help by calling fairgrounds and such.. Could call Marion Co & Hendricks Co.. Marion is Indianapolis and Hendricks is Plainfield area to the west of Indy... Ideas?
